Ireland - Co.Donegal - Cliffs at Slieve League.

Slieve League, sometimes Slieve Liag in Irish is a mountain on the Atlantic coast of County Donegal, Ireland. At 601 metres (1,972 feet), it has some of the highest sea cliffs on the island of Ireland. Although less famous than the Cliffs of Moher in County Clare, Slieve League's cliffs reach almost three times higher.A natural masterpiece of colour across a land and seascape where azure skies, wispy white clouds and cool blue seas meet the sun beaming light onto the myriad of hues of ancient rock formations shades of green and purple heather. Sliabh Liag is truly Mother Nature’s finest canvas where tales of myth and legend, local history and Irish tradition seem to be painted into this wild and rugged landscape.
