The winter of 1995 provided a rare event here in Ireland – a white Christmas. Despite this, no pictures of note emerged locally so when I noticed that faraway hills to the north looked much whiter, I headed in that direction. Soon I seemed to be transported to a different world with hoar frost glistening all around me. Navan Fort was a winter wonderland and in only a short space of time, I took lots of very fine images. This is probably the best one.
