Boyle Camera Club was founded in October 2007 and currently has more than 60 members.They are the first fully designated Digital Camera Club in Ireland and are affiliated to the Irish Photographic Federation. In order to encourage members to get out and about acquiring new images on a regular basis the Boyle Camera Club 52 Week Challenge has been organised for the past couple of years. This entailed shooting a new image every week for the duration and posting it on the club's website every Friday night. At the conclusion of the challenge, a prize would be awarded for the best set of images. This gallery displays my set of images.It was my first attempt at the challenge and indeed it is challenging at times. While not lacking in motivation to go picture hunting, I did find the 52 Challenge useful - there were times when I wouldn't have gone out had it not been for the approach of the dreaded Friday midnight deadline and in a number of cases I got what I consider to be good images.I didn't win but then it is all about the taking part. The order of some images has been changed purely for the appearance of the gallery here.
