we stay at the campground of the Otjitotongwe Cheetah Lodge close to Kamanjab

the owner keeps 3 tame cheetah's in the yard of his house
this old lady is 16, also tame but kept apart because of 'grumpiness'

apart from the tame ones he keeps wilder cheetah's in a 40 hectare enclosure on his vast land
he feeds them every afternoon 2 kilo's of meat per head and we can come along standing in his pickup truck
He is a farmer and keeps cattle

...it's an exciting experience...
