A lot of action took place along the beach in various episodes of the series,
including escape attempts and Rover sightings.
This beach is in front of the Hotel, and these cannons can be seen in the episode "Many Happy Returns",
as Number Six is launching his raft. The beach is also famous for Number Six's run along the beach, shouting "I am a free man".
There is also a wonderful scene of Mary Morris dressed as Peter Pan,
confronting a tuxedoed Number Six on the beach in the episode "Dance of the Dead".
