Stunning image..I really like the shadows casting down on his hat

Antoni, you have a unique way to shot. So simple and so strong at the same time. Every single photo has so much power. Full of feelings. What else should I say, that to vote again.

Another amazing shot that makes me feel a little sad. I think he's lonely.

It’s a small ambition of mine to spend my days of retirement sitting under the shade of a tree just like this reading the papers! Another superb shot Antonis.

I like his hat. Adds some punch to the image.
Gail Davison18-May-2005 20:23
A beautiful shot. It's hard to know whether the person was happy or sad but either way, it's moving.
José Pinto18-May-2005 16:33

lovely shot - think the heavy tones add to the mood of it

I love the shape of the man's hat and how his solitude is emphasized by having his back to us. He is looking off into a blur, which perhaps is where his mind is at as he reflects on his thoughts. Wonderful, thought-provoking picture. Voted.

All alone at the edge of the bench. I feel sadness here.

Love the bokeh...the title seems appropriate.

Can't help wondering what memories are invading him.. and if he's smiling

A touching photograph of an elderly man, alone. Lovely.

That background is certainly "out of the picture". Nice job Antonis!

This looks like something I'd shoot, especially with the shallow DOF.
I suppose that means I like it!
Voted.
