24 Apr 2005 "Pantomime"

Greece

Today I arrived at Crete, I intent to stay in Chania for the Easter. For those who have never visited this wonderful town I have to say that they must.
For the next 10 days you have to bear the pictures that i will shoot here, starting from today.
Today's PaD is partially mine as i think that street artists have a special posing talent.
Just press the button.

indeed, pantomimes are very emotive aren't they? at the least, the photographer must recognize the moment, and that certainly isn't insignificant. :)

They may pose, but you have to know composition, technique, light, lenses, DOF, POV, and on, and on. Good shot here!

This reminds me "Minor White's quote:
"Let the subject generate it's own photographs. Become a camera"

This morning I saw pictures here on Pbase and as I was looking at streetshots I thought to myself, how nice it would be to see someone who performes pantomime. I can not believe that you took this picture you must read my mind. Very nicely done. I agree with you they have a nice natural pose already and I will vote on this image.
