An amazing capture - the B&W tones are just beautiful.
Guest 16-Mar-2005 04:53
Excellent, Antonis. Looks like a Cartier Bresson kind of guy! I like this and his slight look of amusement.
Guest 15-Mar-2005 17:36
Quite the dapper fellow ! Great exposure on this one , tones are spot on !

Capturing facial expressions, one excellent more... Nice.
Leo Charette14-Mar-2005 14:37
This is a fantastic portrait that works very well in b&w. Excellent dof to isolate him from the crowd. Well done.
Guest 14-Mar-2005 14:30
he looks like a private detective!
Guest 14-Mar-2005 14:23

Allways this unique "view" of people and "use" of B&W
It's the Antonis STYLE,
Light, portrait, street approach, B&W and.............talent
Bravo

This one is great, really like the contrast and the gradual black to white transition from top to bottom. The light hat and V under the scarf accentuate the contrast. And to top it off, quite an interesting subject.
northstar3713-Mar-2005 22:49
Fine hat! He looks very distinguished.
Jude Marion13-Mar-2005 22:19
Wonderful portrait!
He appears to be quite a character.
Guest 13-Mar-2005 22:18
I love the jaunty angle to the hat matching the scarf and you can almost see the twinkle in his eye. I wonder what he is thinking.
jlm13-Mar-2005 22:01

He looks like Dirk Bogarde in Death in Venice! Your candids could come from the 19th century. Makes me wonder what street life in Greece is like.
Guest 13-Mar-2005 19:37
superb street shot - love the heavy to light feel of the image from bottom to top
Guest 13-Mar-2005 19:33
Very interesting looking character. The detail and backgroung blur in this image is exceptional especially when considering it had not been done with a fixed lens.
Gail Davison13-Mar-2005 19:26
Looks almost like he could be wearing a disguise!
Lee Rudd13-Mar-2005 19:24
