25 Jan 2005 "Beggar in Athens"

It's a picture from my new gallery "People". I do not know if i like or hate this picture. The only thing i am sure, is that from the moment i took it, i can't get rid of it.

Another powerful image of this man. In this one it is fitting that this "invisible man" to society is also headless. But he too has a soul! This is strong stuff you are posting, congrats.

It's stark and sad and compelling. It's like every homeless person -- we can't help but look, and we quickly look away. I do have a "two cent" suggestion to crop away some of the bottom of the picture, which I'm not sure adds much to the image. As I say, that's just my two cents!

A stark and true moment caught forever.. there is something haunting about a person so cold and wrapped up.. I guess maybe we sit in our warm places and can't quite get this out of our heads. Well done, Antonis..
