Bolsa Chica Wet Land

After a year since the water gate opened to receive water from the ocean, there have been hundreds of different kinds of bird that have migrated here to this wet land. It also became an increasingly popular place for bird watchers and photographers. These pictures were taken at Bolsa Chica, the wet land between Seal Beach and Huntington Beach in Southern California on the very first day with my Canon 40D.

This is an amazing gallery, Antoine. I am amazed by your ability to find these moving targets with that long lens. I went for the 100-400 because I had trouble finding birds with my 300mm lens. Your amazing skill, understanding of light and composition make this collection very, very special! Isabel
