I finally made it across to the other side of Australia.
Having travelled to many parts of the world it is a good idea to see some of my own country.
Visiting some friends in Port hedland on the other side was excellent.
I can't wait to return there soon.

Seen all of this lived there for 22 years and yes its a unique place:) Any way the sunsets are excellent and so are the electric storms:)

fabulous photos of Port Hedland. My partner and myself worked theer in June 2001 for a few weeks on our way north to Kununurra. Then again for 6 months in 2004. The scenery all through the Pilbara has a spectacular and rugged beauty.
