grass fire above houses

Dohuk, Iraq

While sitting on the lawn with a few beers last night we watched the sky turn orange.
It took us a while to realise the mountain was on fire.
The grass fire made for a very interesting light show.

For a second it looked like the fire was in the clouds. My first thought was the upcoming movie, "War of the Worlds". Interesting shot.
