Sharia, Iraq

Last night I saw the New year in at a friends house in Sharia.
Sharia is a poor Yazidi village 10 minutes from Dohuk.
The Yazidis like to celebrate the new year with a few cans of bira.
As always there is a constant supply of snacks to nibble on.

Looks a tasty and much healthier celebration than poisoning oneself with litres of alchohol... as most people do here in the UK. Happy New Year!
