how to add a hit counter to a website


Panoramas, usually stitched using Panorama Factory by Smoky City Design. At least when I was able to use a tripod and a RRS panorama rail - handheld panoramas required tedious PS work. ;-)

The following will make your life easier, you'll be able to stitch handheld panoramas of multiple columns and rows with no difficulty :)

Try Auto Stitch (raw version of a new technique by a Canadian Professor) or Auto Pano Pro (full retail version of the same thing by a third party) for completely automated stitching, just give the images ot the software, could be m rows x n columns random handheld photos, it'll analyze it and provide a stitch pretty quickly.

There is not way to tell the software about the sequence of images, so where it fails, you can't do much, except for trying to analyze it again, sometimes it picks it up. Where it still fails, for manual stuff the best thing out there is Pano Tools by Dersch, the ultimate tools for panoramas, but the learning curve is quite steep, but there are many GUI's out there, the best one IMO is Hugin. Still takes time to learn to use the GUI and understand how PTools work, but it's well worth the effort. There are several tutorials out there as well (on sourceforge page), ranging from total newbie guides to advanced ones.
