Our Home is Girt by Sea

The title of this gallery comes from the Australian National Anthem. What does "girt" mean you may be thinking....well "surrounded" has too many syllables!
I hope to make this gallery a personal response to the connection that so many Australians have with all things sandy and salty. After all more than 80% of the entire population lives within seabreeze!

Many nice shots here. My favorite is "Stormy Skylight." You might be interested to know that in the States there is a town named "Sea Girt" on the east coast of the state of New Jersey, due south of New York City.

Really nice gallery Anthony! We did a trip to Hervey Bay and Fraser Island two years ago ... also went out whale watching and I got a few good shots but none as great as these. Well done!
