Stow Maries is the only remaining preserved World War 1 aerodrome left. They held a fly in on Sept 29, 2012 to raise funds towards ongoing preservation and refurbishment. It was quite windy, so not all of the visiting aircraft could land. Howver, the weather was wonderfully sunny, giving ample opportunities to photograph aircraft against blue skies (a rarity in the UK this year...).
