It is that time of year again, when the ends of legs fly. A great day out at Duxford: early rain and bad light giving way to beautiful warm sun by the end of the day. Stars of the show for me: P47G Snafu, the Flying Bulls P38, Merlin-engined P40F, and piles of Spitfires. Three Mk I Spitfires flew, which is something I've never seen before. And Osa's Ark, the Sikorsky S38 that I saw in Belgium last year, was a pleasure to see again.
