Back to Duxford for yet another year. My goodness - time flies. Anyhow, this year was a celebration and commemoration of the Mighty 8th Airforce and all who flew and died with it. Stars of the show were "Eagle Squadron" - four fighter types associated with US Airmen in the UK P51C, P47G as well as two UK types flown by US pilots in RAF Eagle squadrons, Spitfire Mk I and Hurricane X. Col Bud Anderson, triple ace, was the guest of honour, and had a flight in Miss Velma, a two seat Mustang.
More to come as I get to them.
