Great detail shot.

This is beautiful in B&W! Yes, I agree with Allister...shades of brown were in your other shot which is monochromatic. You had some white and black in it too but then there are shades of white and grey in B&W images so I think either one will work. This is a beautiful image!

Beautiful portrait. Wonderful details and a great crop.
(If you look at my entries so far, I only have a couple of b&w, there are other monochrome possibilities. :)

Mono = one. Any colour should do.
This is a lovely shot of the horse, great detail on the hair and mane.

I get the feeling he's just about to turn and say hello :o)

A black beauty.

I agree with Kathryn and Alister - monochrome is supposed to predominantly be 1 color - any color.
Love your horse close-up! :^)

Wonderful. I thought monochrome was the photo has to be tones of one colour.
I don't think it means black and white.

A superb capture, beautiful detail.

love the angle, and sharpness of the eye, another often unseen view, makes the animal seem careing to the viewer

Wonderful - You have captured the texture of his mane and lashes so well!

Well, I liked the other one and it certainly was monochrome. IMages don't have to B&W to be mono, as we see from many entries so far this month... This is STILL a fine shot... nicely layered and i like the angle.
