New Mexico

Some images taken on a very brief trip to Santa Fe, NM. Some pictures are from Coronado State Monument, which is located a few miles north of Albuquerque, NM; within its boundaries is located the Kuaua Pueblo archeological site, a prehistoric Native American village that was first occupied approximately 700 years ago. Coronado wintered nearby during his exploration into New Mexico in 1540. Most of the other photographs were taken within the bounds of the Bandelier National Monument, near Los Alamos, where one can visit the remains of a variety of Anasazi villages.

All pictures were taken with a Canon Pro1 since I wanted to travel light. Although I only occasionally use the Pro1, I've so far always been very pleased with the quality of the images obtained from this camera.
