Our first port of call was Grand Cayman where we decided to swim with stingrays. Having done our research beforehand, we had booked over the internet with Captain Marvins (we highly recommend them if you are in Grand Cayman). Stingrays are very placid and gentle creatures so please do not be put off by the unfortunate and untimely death of Steve Irwin, who we highly respected for his work in conversation and education of wildlife.

Our next port of call was Roatan where we docked. Visited Panorama Hill, an Iguana Farm and spent some time on a local beach. This was the only day we had some rain, which did not dampen our spirits as we spent some time in the beach bar!!
