When there are several of these mega-ships in the port of Mykonos at the same time Mykonos Town gets uncomfortably congested. For example this Norwegian Jade has capacity for 2402 guests.

Double edged sword. Quaint places get famous, Brings in wealth hopefully to some of the local population. Quaint place then looses some of the charm, due to too many admirers. Even without the massive ship there are always cars in every village town or city. Big ships mean big profits for the owners/ operators. The Greek population rely on tourism. Not sure what the answer is here. Interesting photo.

It's a shame the ships are so huge that the overwhelm the ports. Better to go there on a small ship. V
