The low horizon works beautifully here with the big sky filled with clouds. There is enough of the canyon showing to be interesting and add to the beauty of the sky without stealing all the attention. Nice idea and a fine result. Vote.

I like this; although the sweep of the craggy land is impressive, somehow it seems all the better when it has a "big sky" like this to play against. Had the sky been completely blue and cloudless it probably wouldn't have worked, but the shapes of the clouds act like a distorted echo of the shapes on the ground. (The ones below sharp and angular, the ones above softened and curved, but both full of variance of height and shape.)
