Hatanpää Arboretum, Tampere.
Loved the soft, late afternoon side light peeking through the clouds...
Hatanpää Arboretum comprises three parks. By visiting the arboretum you can study woody plants and admire different perennials and spice plants. There's also a rose garden.
In 1994 a rock garden was created in the arboretum. There are over one hundred perennials and some 30 deciduous and coniferous shrubs, all thriving in the rocky ground.
In the rock garden you can also observe different types of natural stone and concrete materials.
