Attended today a mass in this very old church, which is actually the oldest building in Tampere.
This stone church was built in 1540 during the Roman Catholic Middle Ages.
It has thick walls and there's always cold even on a warm summer day.
It represents the typical style of Finnish mediaeval churches.
The old church has witnessed several periods of glory. In the 17th century,
for example, its walls were decorated with mural paintings, which have been preserved to this day.
