The Alexander Church, Tampere

The neogothic Alexander Church was named after the Russian Emperor Alexander II.
The foundation stone was laid on the day of his 25th anniversary in power, 2nd of March 1880.
The church was damaged badly by fire in 1937, but was completely renovated next year.
