Hwy 1, California

They say the current California drought is driest in state’s history - 2013 was the driest year in CA since the 1840's, when record keeping started.
When driving along the coast in February one could really notice it; hardy anywhere there was green grass.
Was so happy to find some ice plants giving a little bit color to the shore.
Really hope California will get rain soon!
