Here's a gallery devoted to my adventures in the Animal Kingdom 2005. What was simply going to be a trip to a park I had not experiened yet "to say that I had been there" since it was still under construction the last time I was in the world turned out to be a lovefest! This is a different theme park entirely and not to be missed! "Nahtahzuu" is the phrase used to describe this park with it's beautiful and relaxing landscaping. The animals are indeed in large natural surroundings which makes the experience a truly unique one. And for art lovers, it's a sensory overload as one travels from one country to another, drinking in artistic representations of the nations one visits within the confines of Animal Kingdom. Decayed murals and bas relief is everywhere and brightly vivid, nearly flourescent colors are used in several areas which jolts the senses and made me feel totally alive! Thanks to creating & designing "Treehouse Players' Anansi!" I was totally enjoying reading cryptographs and absorbing the color schemes that I naturally steer to when I design. In the calm and cool natural setting, these sections of the park burst alive with color and atmosphere and jolt the energy level of the guests. I adore it all! And look for shots of the "Tigerman", a tatooed and reconstructed person wandering through the park the day we were there which made the experience even more unique and memorable! (I think I was probably the only person with enough chutzpah to go up and actually ask for a photo op! LOL!) Once again, a huge and hearty thanks to Shaughaan Kelly for everything! Enjoy!
