It looks like a multi layered shot. Something put together in photoshop, just like different pices of a giant puzzle that are being put together and suddenly we realise that we've been putting them the wrong way...

Amazing composition.
Bringing the dissimilar elements together like this is impressive.

****Another amazing comment on commercialism and the consumer. A collage, really, of fantasy and reality. You call this a self portrait of yourself, making a picture of a picture, and somehow with the help of a reflection or mirror you also integrate the silhouette of a shopper. Pure geometry, too. The LX1 suits you well. I can see it there over your face. If this is a self portrait, I will take a guess at what you trying to say about yourself in this image. You feel overwhelmed by the barrage of commercialism that dominates urban life. It's a strident media bombardment that promises to make us all healthier, wealthier, wiser, and sexier. You may function as an observer, but in this case, the observer is consumed by it.

Like a cacophony of imagery and right there in the midst is you...the self amongst the many selfs..the Id (as Adal would call it) amongst it's true pleasures. Even the reversed word Lancome adds, becasue it re-inforces the concept of opposites. Maybe all about your love for make-up ;-)) K
