High School Faces

HIGH SCHOOL FACES PROJECT

Realizing individuality is something that most adolescents seem to struggle with, especially in a school where students wear uniforms. The idea behind this project was to frame, shoot, and process each teen in the exact same manner to allow their individuality and soul to be the most prominant feature of the portrait.

Okay, Missy's the most beautiful, but there are many other interesting pictures in this truely inspiring gallery. Somehow I feel it's a tribute to young, self confident people. Well done.

Your objective was well and truly met :-) I echo every comment below and would not want to add much more than has already been said. However, I've bookedmarked this gallery, I am that impressed with it (and I don't do that as a rule on Pbase). There are so many millions of images on this site and rarely does a gallery capture such individuality with flawless skill. I have never hit 'slideshow' on a gallery before, but I have just found myself cycling through the gallery a couple of times, I found it such a joy to watch. Thank you for sharing.....BIG VOTE!!!! I've never commented on anyone's gallery before, but you collection demanded comment. I think these are amongst the best set of portraits I have seen. As everyone else said - you have captured the personality of the subjects. In 10 years time the students will say "yes, that was just how I remember him/her" - Well Done !

This is really a great gallery. I dont say that about many galleries as most have a couple good shots, but in this one, they are all well done and I really like the consistancy of all the shots. Nice job.
