Built for climbing

Ever wondered why Spiders climb so well? It's because they have their own built in grappling hooks on each leg.

I used the trusty Tamron 90mm and Kenko Pro 300 tc for this shot to give me 2:1 magnification.
Handheld as I was too lazy to set a tripod up, SB-800 Speedlite set to 1/8th power as main light source.

This fella was around the size of a small coin, maybe 10mm or so across.

Nikon D70 ,Tamron SP AF DI 90mm f/2.8 Macro
1/320s f/14.0 at 90.0mm with Flash full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto
