Twice a year this Vulcan Bomber blasts up and down the runway at Wellesbourne Airfield just outside Stratford Upon Avon. It no longer holds an airworthy certificate so it will never fly again but the pilot normally lifts the big nose from the runway just to get the crowd going.
Steve, many thanks for passing through, and also for the link. It would be wonderful to see a flying Concorde again, you have my sincere best wishes for the future.
It sure is Steve, he parked the plane on the runway with the rear facing the crowd, then he opened the throttle on those big engines. It was literally a "blast" :-)
