The annual Saraswati Pujo at the Hindu Temple in Irving by the Bengali Association of Dallas Fort-Worth (BA-DFW) presented Uma with the opportunity to perform solo, an Indian Classical rendition (Odissi, a temple dance from Eastern India) that invoked and paid obeisance to the Hindu God of Knowledge and Wisdom, choreographed by her dance teacher, Ms. Krishnaveni Putrevu.
