It is easier to see the dips of the spectrum of Uranus (red) below the solar spectrum when they are calibrated against one another. The calibrated spectrum in green dips below 1 on the y-axis when there is absorption of sunlight by the atmosphere of Uranus, mainly from methane in the atmosphere.
