Dusty galaxy from Coonabarabran

The last image from the holiday, six hastily-snapped images towards the galactic centre, with a eucalypt blocking a little of the bottom right of the frame. Though the lens is poor and there is a lot of distortion towards the edges, there are lots of features to look out for, including much of the Rho Ophiuchus complex and the Blue Horsehead towards the bottom, the shadow of the Corona Australis dark nebula near the top, many nebulae and clusters toards the galactic centre, the glow of the galaxy's bulge, the Great Rift of dust beginning near the tree on the right, and lots of dust and starclouds across the field.

Canon EOS 60D ,Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS
A stack of 6 x 6-minute exposures at 18mm, ISO400 and f/5, 36 minutes integration time.
