19th June 2025 - Rutland Water

Had a quiet day at Rutland Water, but it improved later.

The birding highlight was a Little Tern on lagoon 3. But it just snoozed all the time and didn't come very close. The aviation highlight was a Spitfire giving us an unexpected display.

Saw several osprey dives in the evening (but a long way away).
