Interesting, number 6 almost wins for me but I am so tired of Black on Black on Black. It actually drives me away. I hope for something in an image that draws my attention.

If the background was a lighter grey or even color then the Argus camera would pop-out.. And, have you ever tried to read a product brochure that was black background and white printed characters? Quite fatiguing..

Number 3 has my vote. But, where the title is to be inserted, Perhaps something crisp as a contrast against the clearly time-faded colors.

Very Hard to make the call but there it is. Well,, 6 did the correct thing in stating the book is about cameras.

While the other submissions are good, they assume the one thing I feel they should not assume. That 'Argus' is a known Camera brand, and even more, is a Film camera, except the very last Argus' which were digital.

I vote for Entry 6. The title tells what's inside using an argus-style font, and the design is clean and uncluttered.
