Pas de Duo concert

Steven Varney and Naomi Sanchez are Pas de Duo, an excellent piano duo that plays both classical and mixed programs (more detailed background at that link).

  After winning the nationally sponsored competition for duo pianists and an international one as well, they made their Carnegie Debut in 2006.   They teach in the area and are also individually very involved in music here (in San Francisco area) when not touring the country and winning several awards.

 For a fun evening for a varied audience, get a ticket or book them :-)  I really enjoyed their concert at Holy Names University the other night and decided to take a few pictures from my seat. (-14th- row or so.)
  I was in higher-level seating where I used No-flash in the auditorium (iso800 and 400) but flash outside, with the small Canon A710 from my purse.   Hear and see more Pas de Duo after browsing here.

Lovely to be brought in to this concert. Given the complexities of the setting and camera, I thought many of these shots turned out really well. I liked 'black hole' and 'william bolcom set' especially. Thanks for taking us along.
