The set mimics the original so well that Barnes and Noble's purchasing staff did not suspect it was a bootleg set, and B&N later sent out an alert to staff nationwide to watch out for sets, especially Season 4 with the slightly greenish-cast on the front Season number and -- once the set was opened -- seen as visibly affecting everything inside.

    The color cast on the fake set of color photos is a greenish, sort of antique-gold with high contrast and lost detail.  But this wouldn't be evident when looking at the cover.

    In the first two photos, I show the Season 1 set that I had bought earlier (from Barnes and Noble) against the Season 1 of the fake set bought from a reputable eBay seller who (like B&N) were fooled by the fake copy.  In this case, the fake Season One has noticeably fuzzier cover color pictures with lack of contrast (I didn't open the fake set's Season One) on the front & back of the covers, with loss of detail of course.

    In those first two pictures, you see the factory set's Season 1 cover images on the left and the fake Season 1 cover images on the right, and, following that, my Season 1 set's inside-color-images vs the quality of the inside-color-images of the fake Season 4 set, which was the only season-set that I opened from the fake box-set).
