Antiochos I and Heracles again

Antiochos I claimed that his mother (Laodike) was a descendent of Alexander the Great and that his
father (Mithridates) descended from Darius I.  Per the site linked above, "Professor K. Dorner
{who did restoration work on Mt. Nemrut} has traced the genealogy of Antiochos ..."

Guest, I don't know if you looked at the other pictures and the info under them.
I had put on this page several links to an informative site on Mt. Nemrut, which mentions
that the Antiochos I who built the Mt. Nemrut memorial to himself ruled from 69 to 36 B.C.

If you are talking about Antiochus 1 Soter, king of the Seleucid empire from 281 to 261 BC: he was NOT a desendent of Alexander, nor of Darius I. His father was Seleucus 1 Nicator, a Macedonian general and friend of Alexander, not in any way related to Darius 1, the Persian king (522-486 BC). His mother was Apame, daughter of Spitamenes, a warlord from Bactria (modern Afghanistan).
