Thank you! We went in 1997, 20 years after you, and now it's been another 11-1/2 years
since I saw it, but the place is sort of timeless. It has its hold on me too.

I visited Machu Picchu in 1977. It is truly an awe-inspiring place. Everyone that I encountered there was helpful and kind, as a young girl traveling alone. It appears that Cuzco and Machu Picchu have not changed. It is something that will never forget!
