Palazuelos is a small village located 5 kms from Sigüenza. Nowadays it is almost completely abandoned in spite of its monumental and historical heritage. The whole village is encircled by a wall built in the 15th century that is almost fully preserved. Attached to the west side of the walls there is a fortress that has been rebuilt as a private home.
