Partially obscured behind the Cenotaph, at the far end of the pool are the two arms of a platform housing the Peace Flame (the flame is not visible but you can make out the vertical black piping for the flame's gas supply). This flame will only be extinguished when the last nuclear weapon in the world is destroyed.
