Quite pleased with this shot: flash photography was not permitted for obvious reasons, and quite a distance away from the athlete. So max zoom on the lens needed, hence fast shutter speed, and hence ISO 1600. A real set-up for a noisy photo. Still, after using Adobe Photoshop CS2 noise reduction, followed by Fred Miranda's Intellisharpen II, the final result isn't too bad. The noise is most noticeable in the "nab" and "Tabaret" ad boards.
