Guys - a range of the shots I took, for review and critique. Quite a lot of lessons can be learned by looking at the good ones and the not so good ones.
Points to consider and discuss:
(a) Background - complexity, texture, its distraction from the aircraft;
(b) Lighting - uneven sun in and out of cloud, shooting the "dark side", shooting into the sun;
(c) Formation - echelon left vs right, relative to sun, photo aircraft position in formation (lead vs in echelon, high vs low, shooting up twds sky, down twds ground);
(d) Canopy issues on photo plane - blur is evident in the tight form shots duing RTB and the pitch;
(e) Unequal luminance of black Yak and white Seneca - makes for difficult exposure. Important to minimise background distractions.
