Lofoten Islands (Norway) 2010

In August of 2010, we took a trip to the Lofoten Islands in northern Norway a couple of hundred kilometres north of the Arctic Circle. Despite their latitude, their climate is surprisingly temperate due to the warm gulf stream. We flew into Bergen, took the Hurtigruten steamboat up to Stamsund, and then hiked and camped for a week before flying home.
