A few times I had "paparazzi" shouted at me, always in a good natured fashion. One young man with a camera asked me if my Canon 1D mk II was a digital one. When I said yes he seemed duly impressed, paused, and asked "where does the film go?" He seemed genuinely surprised that the camera didn't have the ability to do film or digital. or perhaps he had not really grasped digital. These guy are everywhere round the lake, waiting to capture one of th many who wants a souvenir photo but, sadly, can not afford even a basic, old second hand film camera. This particular man looked away as I snapped him but I always think other photographers are 'fair game'. I showed him his image in the LCD display and he laughed aloud. He was delighted.
