High-noon drama

Ho Chung

This wasp(?) seemed to have already killed the unfortunate spider when I came across it. It dragged the spider across the path in front of me at a high speed and disappeared rapidly into the leaf litter.

Great shot. It sounds like a pepsis wasp. It paralyzes the spider and them lays an egg on it. The hatchling feeds on the still-living spider. Voted.
