These pictures were taken January 2004 during a road trip through Nevada, Arizona and Utah. We started in Las Vegas and after a couple of days enjoying the casinos and shopping we visited Red Rock State Park (near Las Vegas) and drove to the Grand Canyon NP (see my other galleries). Then we drove through Monument Valley toward the Canyonlands NP Needles District. Unfortunately Canyonlands National Park was covered with dense fog, which is rather rare event, and we missed seeing the grandeur of the landscape. The trip ended with a brief visit to Zion NP.
