A fast bloomer at Quail Botanical Garden.
I took this image of this unusual cactus blooming and realized I had captured a plastic tag in the image when I came home.
I returned two days later and the bloom and the stem had withered.

I've never seen a cactus bloom on a long stalk like this. Beautiful shot. Well composed and good exposure.

What a beautiful flower and how lucky you were to catch it in full bloom! The flower is too nice to be distracted by the label - don't worry our eye is drawn to the beauty of the flower... ;)
